Help protect our Natural Resources
Crime Stoppers and the Department of Justice and Public Safety are seeking the public’s assistance in apprehending the individual(s) responsible for destroying New Brunswick’s protected species.
On or about Thursday, November 3, 2016 DPS Conservation Officers investigated a complaint regarding an American bald eagle that was shot and killed in the area of Saint-Arthur in Restigouche County. After killing the eagle, the individual then removed the talons and the remains were then discarded amongst moose carcasses that had been dumped in the area.
Anybody with information pertaining to this incident or any other crimes against the natural resources of New Brunswick, are encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers or your local Justice and Public Safety office.
