Crime of the Week: Unsolved Theft of Firearms – Keswick Ridge

Crime Stoppers and the West District RCMP, Keswick Detachment, are seeking the public’s assistance in solving a theft of firearms that occurred at a residence in Keswick Ridge, New Brunswick. Police are looking for information that will help identify those responsible and get these guns out of the hands of criminals.

On July 24th, 2016, the Keswick RCMP received a call regarding a break and enter in which six hand guns, four rifles and 500 rounds of 9mm ammunition were stolen from a residence located at 408 Tripp Settlement Road in Keswick Ridge.

The stolen handguns were two Ruger SR9 9mm pistols, a Ruger SR45 pistol, a CZ 75B 9mm pistol, a Smith and Wesson SD9VE 9mm pistol and Sig Sauer P226 9mm pistol. The rifles stolen were a Remington 770 .270WIN bolt action rifle with Bushnell scope, a Midland Parker Hale 30-06 caliber bolt action rifle with 4x scope, a Cooey 16 gauge shotgun and an Escort Missone 12 gauge semi-automatic shotgun.
