Crime of the Week : Criminal Negligence causing Bodily Harm

Crime Stoppers and the West District RCMP, Oromocto Detachment, are looking for the person or persons responsible for the negligent use of a firearm causing Bodily harm to a man at the Geary Speedway.

Late in the afternoon of July 25th 2015 at the Geary Speedway, a 39 year old man was hit by a rifle bullet while sleeping in his tent trailer. The victim sustained serious injuries to both his arms and has lost the use of both hands. This careless act has left a man without the ability to work and care for himself. Information has revealed a small group of people were shooting near the camp site when the victim was hit. There are people in the community who know who is responsible and we are asking you to come forward and do the right thing by calling Crime Stoppers.
