Hit and run in Berry Mills involving cyclist remains unsolved (Sept 2014)

Crime Stoppers and the Southeast District RCMP, Riverview Detachment, are looking for the driver and vehicle involved in a hit and run causing serious injuries in Berry Mills, New Brunswick.

At approximately 9:30 a.m. on September 27, 2014 a cyclist was travelling on the exit ramp connecting Homestead Road to Berry Mills Road when he was hit by a vehicle travelling towards him. Following the impact the driver failed to stop and provide assistance to the cyclist who was seriously injured. The victim was transported to the Moncton hospital for treatment and surgery. The vehicle is described as being a mid-size car or SUV, possibly dark blue in colour. It is likely that there was considerable damage on the driver’s side as a result of this collision.
