RCMP investigating multiple break & enters; ATM thefts in Southeastern, N.B.

Codiac Regional RCMP and Southeast District RCMP are investigating break and enters targeting businesses with ATMs. So far, six ATMs have been stolen. These incidents occurred between September 2014 and January 2015.
The most recent break, enter and theft occurred at the Five Bridges Neighbourhood Bar and Grill on Pine Glen Road in Riverview, N.B. on January 4, 2015 at approximately 4 a.m. Two suspects, wearing balaclavas and parkas broke into the restaurant and stole an ATM. The suspects fled the area in a newer model, four-door, black Jeep Wrangler Sahara. An undisclosed amount of cash was in the ATM at the time of the theft.
Police believe these incidents are linked. RCMP Forensic Identification experts have gathered evidence from the crime scenes and investigators are analyzing security video footage in an attempt to identify and locate the suspects.

- December 1, 2014 shortly before 2 a.m. – Break, enter/attempted ATM theft Co-Op Express, Amirault Street, Dieppe, N.B.
- December 6, 2014 at around 12:30 a.m. – Break, enter/attempted ATM theft Jean’s Restaurant, St. George St., Moncton, N.B.
- December 8, 2014 at – at around 1:30 a.m. – Break, enter /ATM theft Esso Gas Station on Smith Street in Petitcodiac, N.B.
- December 26, 2014 at shortly before 4:30 a.m. – Break, enter/ATM theft Sobeys, Main Street in Sussex, N.B.
- December 31, 2014 at around 3:00 a.m. – Break, enter/ATM theft Le Paysan, Restaurant & Lounge, rue Principale, Saint-Antoine
- January 2, 2015 at shortly before 3 a.m. – Break, enter/attempted ATM theft Shell Gas Station, rue Principale, Rogersville, N.B.
- January 4, 2015 shortly before 4 a.m. – Break, enter/ATM theft Five Bridges Neighbourhood Bar and Grill, Pine Glen Rd, Riverview, N.B.
